Tudor Jovin, MD
Dr. Tudor Jovin is Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Chair and Chief of the Department of Neurology at Cooper University Health Care, and Medical Director of the Cooper Neurological Institute. He was among the first interventional neurologists in the United States, and his clinical and research work spans the full range of ischemic and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease. He served as principal investigator of DAWN, REVASCAT and BAOCHE, trials that extended the treatment window for mechanical thrombectomy and reshaped international practice. A past president of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, Dr. Jovin is a co-principal investigator of the DONE SYMPLE trial alongside Dr. Ortega-Gutiérrez and Dr. Ribó.
